Job overview: Our client is looking for a Product Launch Co-ordinator.

Candidate Summary:

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced social media strategist to spearhead the launch of new products into the health and beauty marketplace. You will plan and implement product launches from beginning to end with the goals of growing visibility, engagement and, ultimately, revenue. The successful candidate must have proven experience in this field with a credible portfolio of successful product launches which they have personally delivered.

Requirements of the Role:

  • Understanding of social media use in a commercial environment, with a particular focus on Facebook & Instagram
  • Proven commercial experience of the creation and implementation of highly successful paid campaigns on social media
  • Ability to source, recruit and effectively manage social media influencers, able to build strong professional relationships and grow a wide network of contacts
  • Quantifiable experience of significantly growing follower numbers and engagement
  • Capable of making a measurable impact on revenue
  • A strong knowledge of the health and beauty market would be an excellent advantage

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement social media campaigns focused around new product launches
  • Maximise organic and paid visibility, engagement and revenue
  • Able to motivate, inspire and influence in-house designers, photographers & videographers to create engaging visual content
  • Continual innovation – the regular creation of new campaign ideas for discussion with the senior team
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of social media platforms and trending topics/themes
  • Monitor KPIs and report regularly on results generated
  • Represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions
  • Attend and oversee photo and video shoots
  • Work with external partners and agencies when relevant
  • Miscellaneous ad hoc duties

  • A self-starter able to take ownership of new campaign creation and management
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong and charismatic influencer
  • Expert knowledge of social media channels, with the skills to ‘read’ a variety of audiences – able to adjust to all possibilities and accommodate perceived limitations
  • Good attention to detail
  • Demonstrates a passion for continuous innovation and improvement on past results
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a results driven and pressurised commercial environment
  • A strong team player adept at building strong working relationships at all levels in the company
